Bender Davis was born on 7/25/1978 to James Davis and Ann Kirkland. Bender was always big for his age. He was also clumsy because of his size. He was often teased. He became interested in the drums and other percussion instruments. He became very good at playing the drums. He soon joined his high school band. He was very good. He was nicknamed Sticks by the band director of his high school. In 1992, Bender formed a band with three of his friends, Kensington Waters, Shelia Dexter, and Scott Williams.
